Terms and Conditions for Storage in Brent
Welcome to Storage Brent. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage facilities and services. By renting storage space with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our policies and procedures.
General Terms
Duration of Storage
Your storage agreement begins on the start date indicated in your contract and continues on a monthly basis unless terminated by either party in accordance with these terms. Early termination may incur fees as specified in your agreement.
Payment Terms
All payments are due monthly in advance. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or direct debit. A late fee of 5% of the monthly rent will be applied to overdue accounts after a 10-day grace period.
Access Hours
Access to your storage unit is available from 6 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Extended access outside these hours may be arranged upon request and subject to additional fees.
User Responsibilities
Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, the following items are strictly prohibited from being stored:
- Flammable or explosive materials
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous chemicals
- Illegal substances
- Live animals
Liability
Storage Brent is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your items unless caused by our negligence. We recommend obtaining insurance to cover the value of your stored goods.
Facility Rules
Security Measures
Our facility is equipped with 24/7 surveillance cameras, secure access gates, and individually alarmed units to ensure the safety of your belongings. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your unit is properly locked and secured.
Insurance
While we offer basic coverage, it's advisable to secure additional insurance for high-value items. Please consult our insurance policies for more information.
Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the storage agreement with a 30-day written notice. Upon termination, you must remove all items from your unit by the specified date. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the disposal of remaining items.
Changes to Terms
Storage Brent reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided 30 days in advance, and continued use of the facility constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Brent.
By renting a storage unit with Storage Brent, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
